Michael Ray and The Third Power Band appeared on shows with groups like: Platinum Hook (Motown recording
group), The Five Stairsteps whose song, "O-o-h Child" was a smash hit in the 70's, Jackie Moore (R&B Singer), and
other recording artist. He was originally recorded by Robert Honoblue, a former CBS recording engineer at George
Benson's studio. He was introduced to George Benson by Ed Prindle, a promoter/producer and friend of George
Clinton, a funky music performer and producer of The Parliaments, The Funkadelics, Bootsy Collins. Michael Ray has
written over 90 songs, all soon to be released. He was featured as a Jingle Writer on Channel 7 Eyewitness News, NY,
local Cable TV and newspapers in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area.
He receives tremendous encouragement from family and friend and continues performing in and around the Jersey/New
York/Northeastern Pa. area. He's been performing regularly at receptions, banquets, dinners, special events, as well as
entertaining family and friends for decades. He has produced these CDs containing 21 original songs. The CDs are
professionally recorded for your listening pleasure. These songs are destined to be classic hits. The songs include love
ballads and are performed in a variety of soulful styles, including R&B, Smooth Jazz and Disco, all with clean lyrics (no
